Well here we are again, another new year, another new years resolutions list. Did I stick to my 2017 list? No, not really. But I did try I swear!

Here are my 2018 new years resolutions, that I hope to try and achieve this year.

1. Weekend Vlogging (and actually stick to it!)
So in 2017 I tried weekend vlogging for the first time, and it started off okay but then I just started to get real sloppy. This was a resolution last year, so this year I hope to actually try and stick to it.

Of course I know there will be some weekends where I just can't vlog, but I'm truly aiming to try and vlog most weekends, at least more than last year anyway.

So if you want to keep up with my fabulous (lol, jokes) life, then subscribe to my YouTube channel!

2. Blog at least once a week
So I tried to blog last year, but let's be real, I was slack. I have so much I want to write about, but then I get tired and just can't be bothered - not this year! I plan to put out a blog post at least once a week, and finally get some blogs that I've had sitting in draft forever out to the world.

3. Read!!
This is another resolution from last year, I wanted to read 10 books - I only got through 5. So this year, instead of saying I don't have time or I'm too tired I will pick up the book and try to even read a chapter.

I actually love reading and have over 50 books on my to read list but I'm just lazy. So instead of Netflix, YouTube or mindlessly scrolling through social media I will instead pick up a book every once and awhile.

4. Say yes to going out more
I've noticed I like saying, 'oh sorry I'm busy' a lot, even when I actually have nothing planned. I've found myself in a rut, where on my weekends I prefer just to sit at home and watch TV instead of going to a friends house or going out to dinner. So this year I will say yes to more things, and actually get out my house and socialise in my spare time.

5. Get in shape
Okay so this one makes the list every year, but I really do need to stop making excuses. It's time to hit the gym or if I'm too busy at least take my dogs for a walk and do something active. This year I will attempt to do something active at least 4 - 5 times a week.

5. Go to bed on time
I'm making it a priority this year that on work nights at 9pm I put down my phone and turn off the TV. I need to get more sleep and have a better quality of sleep, so after 9pm if I'm not tired I can read but that's it. Hopefully this will also help me get into a routine and then be able to wake up at a decent hour where I can have breakfast before work - because I do skip it a lot, oops.

Let me know what your new year's resolutions are below, I'd love to hear what you'd like to achieve.

2017 - what a year.
It was a pretty fabulous year and looking back probably one of my favourites. So let's take a look back at the year that was 2017.

Travel
I was very fortunate during 2017 to do a lot of travelling. Not only did I go back to my happy place - Disney World in Orlando Florida and a Disney Cruise to the Caribbean, but I also got to travel around Europe with my 3 best friends from high school.

Countries I visited:
  • America
  • Austria
  • Bahamas
  • Cayman Islands
  • Czech Republic
  • England
  • France
  • Germany
  • Hungary
  • Italy
  • Jamaica
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Switzerland
  • Vatican City
Just looking at this list I can't believe I did all this, but I'm so glad I saved my money and did. I love travelling and couldn't imagine not having a year that doesn't involve me going somewhere.

A permanent full time job
2017 was the year I finally secured myself a permanent full time job. No more short contracts, no more wondering if I should start looking for another job out of fear I wouldn't be extended. It's like the biggest weight was lifted from my shoulders when I finally signed that contract.

YouTube growth
I never give myself a number to work towards, or look at how many views my videos get, but I was pretty damn happy my channel had over 550 subscribers by the end of 2017. I just still can't believe that so many people actually want to subscribe to me.

So thank you to everyone who has subscribed or even watched just one of my videos. There are so many wonderful people to watch on YouTube and the fact that people choose to watch me is amazing and I thank you very very muchly.

I saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Literally this play was the reason I travelled to Europe. My friend booked these tickets in 2016 and then said why don't you come with me. This then turned into a 5 week trip around Europe but regardless, this play was the reason I went and holy gosh I'm so glad I did.

This play made me laugh, cry and just took my breath away.

I'm sure I've missed some things because let's be honest I have a terrible memory. There are things I wish that could've happened in 2017, but really it was a pretty unbeatable year. Sorry 2018, you have a lot to live up too.

Disney Trip 2017

So in September and October I finally went back to the most magical place on earth, and a Disney Cruise. I had the most amazing 3 weeks with my sister and cousins, and I'll forever cherish the memories we made.

I know a lot of people say 'isn't Disney for kids?' Well no, it's not. It's my happy place and why wouldn't I continue to go back to somewhere that makes me smile and yes, it makes me feel like a little kid. Not to mention it's 5 star service, every cast member is beyond amazing, the parks are breathtaking and don't even get me started on the resorts.

I can't wait to go back someday, next year would be amazing but I'm not holding my breath. Next time I'd love to go at Christmas time. I freaking loved the Halloween decorations and the party, and I seriously can't wait to see it and the most wonderful time of the year, and my favourite time of year - Christmas.

Also, I vlogged my entire trip! Vlogs are coming out weekly, so if you're interested go check out my YouTube channel.

Stranger Things

This show is everything! Okay, if you haven't watched it yet - spoilers up ahead.

I binged this show for 9 hours straight immediately when it was released on October 27, at 5pm in Australia - which really was the best time cause it meant I could come home from work and stay up till 2am taking it all in, and take it all in I did.

Firstly, we can forget episode 7. I get they wanted to introduce another girl that was in the same place as Eleven, but I hated it, and I think I'm not alone. The only good thing to come out of this was El's new Bitchin' look.

Next can we talk about how adorable Hopper and Eleven are?! Ugh, he is just looking out for her and it's so beautiful and you know he looks at her like a daughter now - like the one he lost. I just can't even. I hope in the next season we get to see more of them together. Their scenes literally were amazing, even when they fought and Hopper had no chance standing up against El's powers but he stood firm like a father would and deep down you knew everything he was doing was for her.

Okay, now let's talk about the BEST MOMENT OF THE ENTIRE SEASON! Mike and Eleven's reunion. OMG, just perfection. The look on Mike's face is everything - seriously Finn is an outstanding actor, hell all the kids are - wait no the entire cast is amazing. But Finn and Millie just nail it. I cried at this moment. I knew it was El outside, and just seeing Mike and seeing them hug, just talking about it makes me want to watch it again. I hope in season 3 we see them together more. In season 1 I loved every scene with the boys and El, and I really missed this in season 2. It killed me I had to wait until the end of episode 8 for a god damn reunion!

Alright, let's talk Steve. I loved him in season 1, but this season he was just on another level. And how dare Nancy dump him!? Okay, I get it she feels something for Jonathan, but please how could you not love Steve? Especially after he turns into the best babysitter ever and helps the kids kick ass. And when he is giving Dustin advice and at the end Steve is the one that drives him to the dance - oh god, I lost it. I love the 2 of them. He better stick around for the next season. I need to see more Steve hanging with the kids. And maybe he can get back with Nancy?

Okay, and you can tell I could keep going on forever about this show. So I'm going to stop now. But if you've never watched Stranger Things, get off this blog now and go start binging. Seriously best show ever in the longest time!

Song of the Month

Praying by Kesha

This is such a powerful and beautiful song. So glad Kesha is back, her voice is unbelievable and I can't wait to hear her other songs.

For people who don't know, I vlog and have a YouTube channel. I by no means claim to be good at it, but I've always enjoyed editing videos so a couple of years ago I decided to give it a shot.

Some may think, why vlog your holiday? I do it for myself, for the people I travel with and for my family and friends so they can see what I get up to. Having other people watch it is an added bonus. If I can make someone smile or give them some information they didn't know before, then I'm pretty happy. I also really enjoy watching other people vlog their holidays, I find they give a real honest opinion and you can learn so much from watching them.

So this post is to let you know that my first vlog from my latest Disney Cruise + Disney World holiday is now up and ready for all to enjoy! So if you feel like watching it, Day 1 is below. But before you do a disclaimer - I enjoy my holiday first and foremost, I just happen to be holding a camera in my hand, so my footage isn't always the greatest, I really try not to live through a camera.

So sit back, relax (maybe grab some food and a drink, it's 27 minutes long!) and enjoy Day 1, Travel Day of my latest Disney trip.

Want to watch more? Check out the playlist.

Below are my top 5 must do's when I visit EPCOT, this includes rides, attractions and entertainment. Note, due to my motion sickness there are a few rides here that I can't go on, plus there are still many things I haven't experienced in this park - just being honest. But without further ado here is my list.

#5
Journey Into Imagination with Figment

This is such a cute ride. I love the idea of it, the song and who couldn't love that adorable purple dragon Figment! It's a very slow paced ride, great for kids and yes the moon face at the end of the ride is a little creepy, but I still love it. It might not be everyone's pick to do, and it barely ever has a wait time but at least do it once if you've never done it before.

#4
Test Track

The fastest ride at Disney World, it doesn't seem it but this little car definitely picks up speed. This is a neat ride that let's you create your own car digitally and then it gets tested alongside everyone else in your car in 4 different categories and you get to see where your car ranks. Obviously the best part of this ride is the power testing where you shoot of outside and speed around the track. Everyone needs to do this ride at least once while at EPCOT, it's a lot of fun.

#3
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros

I have no idea why I love this ride so much, I just do. Once again it barely has a wait time, and it's great if you want to rest your feet. And if you're wondering, I don't think I've ever seen this ride before...well it's hidden inside the Mexico pavilion, yes inside the pyramid.

This ride just brings a smile to my face and makes me so happy, plus I love Donald Duck and watching him zoom around Mexico is funny and entertaining.

#2
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth

I always forget how great this fireworks show is until I see it again. It truly is a great fireworks display, and what makes it even better is you can stand anywhere in world showcase and pretty much get a great view. I also enjoy the music that accompanies the show. Don't miss it anddefinitely hang around and stay to watch them, trust me it's worth it.

#1
Spaceship Earth

This ride made my top 5 rides at Walt Disney World, so of course it had to make this list, and it's my favourite ride at EPCOT. I love how it takes you back to the past and it really makes you sit there and think 'wow, look how far as a planet we have come.'

I love the part in the ride when it's all dark and you're looking at the stars/planets. Not going to lie, it's also fun answering the questions and seeing what your future will be like. It's also really neat at the end, when you're off the ride, how your picture moves to where you live in the world. I love seeing it fly over to Australia and feeling like I contributed to the globe full of little dots.

Pretty much, just ride Spaceship Earth. You will not regret it.

You're welcome! My top 5 must do's at EPCOT. Let me know in the comments below what your must do's are when you visit this park. Also check out the video my sister and I made below.
